Friends, we usually don't cancel church just because of a little snow. (This IS Indiana, after all, and many of us are country people, anyway.) But we've been hearing from some of our folks who work the roads that it is pretty bad out there today. So, THE CHURCH WILL BE CLOSED ON SUNDAY, MARCH 1ST. Stay home and build a snowman... Peace be with you all.
We've just found out about a great opportunity to help people build their own home, right here in our neighborhood. You can help out, this winter, every Friday and Saturday, building walls (indoors) to be put up later this Spring.

We had a great time at our Chili Cook-Off, and raised a bunch of money for Elliott's Army - Elliott Ogle, our young friend in Westfield who is fighting Leukemia.
Some folks have called the church, asking where they can send further donations to Elliott's Army. Send them here:

Read the book of Mark with us in the New Year!
For 2015, we are going to focus on the gospel of Mark in Worship.
The book of Mark, found in the New Testament of the Bible, is the oldest full story about the life of Jesus (called a "gospel"). It was written in about the year 60. It is also the shortest gospel. We rarely read it completely or in order, but in 2015, we are going to do just that! Follow along with us from home, or come join us for worship, each Sunday at 10:30am.
